Founded in 1861, Kitagawa Hanbee has spent over 150 years producing and preserving authentic Uji green tea. Rooted in Kyoto’s Uji region, the company has remained dedicated to protecting the integrity, quality, and heritage of Japanese tea while adapting to the evolving food culture of each generation.

At the heart of Kitagawa Hanbee’s philosophy is the belief that tea is more than a beverage.
