A Flavorful, Everyday Usucha
This usucha offers a rich, full-bodied taste with a harmonious blend of creamy, slightly nutty, and gently toasted notes. Its smooth, lingering aftertaste enhances the overall depth of flavor. Compared to Usucha Ryo no Kage, this matcha has a mellower and more rounded profile. For the best experience, use water at 85°C (185°F)—lower temperatures may introduce bitterness.
How to Prepare
1. Add 2g (0.4 US tsp, 1 teaspoon, or 2 chashaku scoops) of matcha powder to a tea bowl.
2. Pour 75 ml (2.4 fl oz) of hot water at 85°C (185°F) over the matcha.
3. Whisk with a chasen (bamboo whisk) until smooth and foamy.
