Matsukazemukashi is an entry-level koicha (thick matcha) from Kanbayashi’s tea portfolio, offering a pleasantly full-bodied experience with a subtle toasty-nutty flavor and a hint of astringency.
When prepared as koicha (thick matcha), it delivers a rich, velvety texture with deep umami notes. As usucha (thin matcha), it transforms into a smooth, light, and creamy tea with a pleasantly full-bodied yet balanced finish, complemented by a delicate nuttiness.
This versatile matcha is perfect for those exploring high-quality koicha while also enjoying the flexibility of a well-balanced usucha.
