This 30g Fuji no Midori culinary‑grade matcha, produced by a Shizuoka Chaen, is made from tea grown in the Fuji region of Shizuoka Prefecture. It is recommended both for baking and confectionery.
Shizuoka is known as one of Japan’s three major gyokuro‑producing regions. It is renowned for cultivating high‑quality tea leaves used for premium gyokuro and matcha.
Because matcha is consumed as the whole powdered tea leaf, it contains more nutrients than sencha even when using the same amount. It allows you to efficiently take in vitamins, amino acids that contribute to umami, catechins, potassium, magnesium, copper, zinc, and other beneficial components naturally found in tea leaves.
