How to Prepare Suiun Organic Matcha (Usucha Style)

You will need:

• 1.5–2g matcha (about 1 teaspoon)
• 60–70 ml (2–2.5 oz) hot water (75–80°C / 167–176°F)
• Bamboo whisk (chasen), matcha bowl (chawan), and sifter

Steps:

1. Sift the matcha into your bowl to ensure a smooth, lump-free tea.
2. Warm the bowl and whisk with hot water, then dry them.
3. Add matcha and pour in the hot water.
4. Whisk briskly in an “M” or “W” motion until a fine froth forms.
