    Flavor & Aroma Profile

    • Rich umami with a touch of elegant bitterness.
    • A fragrant and refreshing aroma, enhancing the overall drinking experience.
    • Vivid green color, reflecting the tea’s high quality and freshness.

How to Prepare Tsuji Midori Usucha (Thin Matcha)

Matcha: 2g (1 heaping chashaku or ½ teaspoon)
    Water: 70-80ml (2.5 oz) at 80°C (176°F)
Tools: Chawan (matcha bowl), Chasen (bamboo whisk), Chashaku (bamboo scoop)

    1. Preheat the Chawan – Warm the bowl with hot water, discard, and dry.
    2. Sift the Matcha – This prevents clumps and ensures a smooth, velvety texture.
    3. Add Water – Use hot (not boiling) water to preserve the delicate flavors.
    4. Whisk Until Frothy – Using a quick W or M motion, whisk until a fine foam appears on the surface.
    5. Enjoy Immediately – Savor the harmonious umami-bitter balance and smooth texture.

    Perfect for Everyday Enjoyment

    • Each 30g tin makes approximately 15 servings.
    • Ideal for usucha (thin matcha) but also versatile for lattes, matcha desserts, and baking.

Tsuji Midori offers the perfect combination of umami and bitterness, making it a delightful matcha for both traditional tea ceremonies and modern matcha creations.
