How to Prepare Zuiho Usucha (Thin Matcha)
Matcha: 2g (1 heaping chashaku or ½ teaspoon)
Water: 70-80ml (2.5 oz) at 80°C (176°F)
- Warm your chawan (matcha bowl) with hot water, then discard the water and dry the bowl.
- Sift the matcha into the bowl to remove clumps and create a smoother texture.
- Add the hot water.
- Using a bamboo whisk (chasen), whisk briskly in a W or M motion until a fine layer of froth forms on the surface.
- Enjoy immediately.

Matcha: 3g
Water: 70-80ml (3 oz) at 80°C (176°F)
